Our interconnected network of pipelines, ocean tankers, barges and truck fleets move GIE products from the source to our strategically located terminals quickly and efficiently. The GIE terminal network consists of twelve owned and operated facilities. We have also established several alliances with other terminal operators in areas where a GIE proprietary terminal does not exist.
GIE's Supply and Distribution Department communicates with the oil markets of the world to assure that all of our petroleum products are provided to you at the lowest possible cost. GIE maintains a significant presence in the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), where our sophisticated product trading and risk management systems minimize the price fluctuations associated with the dramatic changes in world oil markets.
